Surprised (though maybe shouldn't be?) by how many AI pitch submissions weve been receiving for the ROMchip pitch call. What is less surprising is how deeply bad they are. Train on internet clickbait, ChatGPT and other genAI text generators really verge toward mediocrity of both concept & writing.

😕 This is swamping both literary & scientific magazines, agents, conferences... basically anything that has open submissions and previously relied on the natural friction of writing to keep their inbox at a manageable level.
