It really does irritate me just how much the non-american side of PC gaming is treated. There was such a thriving scene in PC gaming in the Europe during the late 80s to early 90s, and all of it just gets ignored completely

Like I know all mediums have a sense of memory decay built into them, but if you listen to the average gamer the narrative goes Pong, Atari, ET Cash, NES. At most you get a small insight into the Famicom, but that is really it
