As a decent adherent to Howe-Strauss, I have to agree. The Four Turnings have general patterns and trends but their specifics throughout history have been different.

My belief: you can't stop history from rhyming but, if you know the rhythms, you'll at least be better able to adapt.

I've had the upcoming Turnings written down for over a decade now; "Crisis" is supposedly ending soon & "High" is coming up, maybe starting in 2025/2026 and lasting until 2044/2045. Would be nice. Also hard not to look around and see we've been in a needed cultural revolution the past few decades.
