And really I don’t know where that next decade went! Things got better: she grew up, slowly; I had the career change that’s brought me to the success I enjoy now… but we struggled financially. Austerity, the loss of child tax credits, our childcare bill hitting £700pcm - a lot even back then…

… to this day I’m funny about money. Exist in a state of denial about it: so much so that at one point a couple years back, I learned my salary was about £5k higher than I thought which I fully admit is an absurd way to operate. But, TL;DR wish we could do it over: LAB-LIB coalition instead please!
