I very much believe Gaiman was targeted because he supports trans people. However, Gaiman is guilty all on his own, regardless. Someone wandering all over a thread about people saying "I hope David Tennant hasn't done anything" and accusing *all* of them of defending rape is very much not helping.

op is very obviously saying "if u know he raped someone, shut up about it" and implying that this needs to be done to protect trans ppl fuck that, i don't want my existence to be a shield for rapists. do u understand how fucking dehumanizing that is? and how that makes all women less safe?
