it would be nice to have less traffic/pollution etc, i totally get that, i just rarely hear the perspective of actual people with mobility issues in a lot of folks' remarks, but i am perhaps hyper-aware of them cause i chat with a lot of ME/CFS havers.

I'm an abled person but this isn't my first time dealing with mobility issues because I have extremely flat feet. Plantar fasciitis is a not infrequent occurrence and I've broken my ankle before. Is that the same as someone who literally cannot walk? No.
