i think a lot of people are freaking out right now because it seems very clear that Trump will win reelection if something doesn't change and nothing seems to be changing. There's no new rallying cry, no new campaign promises, it's just very business as usual despite an election being 4 months away

i don't think it is some grave sin to talk about Biden's debate performance (or his bad politics) but I do think it is very telling that when Trump shows his world-view is completely detached from reality or basic facts, everyone's totally cool with it because he sounded nice
