The one slightly amusing aspect of the Trump Supreme Court immunity thing is watching all the Americans melt down about 'King Trump' as though there wouldn't be immediate consequences over her if any monarch ever tried to actually use any of the theoretical power they have...

Can only speak for the UK; our monarchy seems to take the view that their job is being the royal family, forever - so rocking the boat is not an option. In contrast a president has 8 years at best and is not part of a dynasty. A president has every incentive to make hay while the sun shines.
