A microcosm of issue you point out is individual country accounting still leading to beggar thy neighbor policy. China, for example, is partially reducing its CO2 growth by offloading steel making’s coal usage to Indonesia, where coal production is up ~50% in latest 5 years of data.

Thanks for taking the time. I’d of course prefer a methodological approach for inclusion, to avoid bias in analysis on bias, but I appreciate how bad it’s gotten on Twitter so again, thank you for your thoughts.

I bailed on Twitter for reasons in his piece, but I’ve also seen Mr Joshi unwilling to engage w/ minimal pushback on issues within climate change solutions (e.g. not accepting non-unionized, often forced labor with poor safety/ESG standards in China’s mining/EV production), so what’s a troll to him?
