I think this is slime mold Ceratiomyxa fruticulosa. Sounds like Furiosa. Sugadaira Kogen, Ueda, Nagano #SlimeMold #FungiFriends

Ramalina sp. The low, shrubby trees in the wetland are covered with lichens. I was hoping it would rain today so I can observe waterlogged lichens, but the rain started only when I was halfway home. Sugadaira Kogen, Ueda, Nagano #Lichen #FungiFriends

Went up to Sugadaira for errands, and stopped by at the wetland to look for bugs and lichens. Plateumaris sericea, I think. Their body color range from green to brown to purple, and these are copper brown. Sugadaira Kogen, Ueda, Nagano #Invertebrate #Insects
