Two years ago, we wrote in the Guardian: "The CDC is beholden to corporations and lost our trust." With today's news about the CDC weakening COVID isolation guidance, likely influenced by corporate interests, this statement continues to sadly hold true.

Was there a corresponding article about the failings in the UK? Because profiteering, failing to protect, inform, debunk deniers and thus gaslighting me, if nobody else, is sure as hell grounds on their own for vehemently condemning our govt and our opposition seems complicit.

Our entire corrupt government that is beholden to corporations/wealthy. Both parties. Congress. All of them are taking bribes. This country isn't sustainable. It's a criminal mafia enterprise conducted at our expense. Tax payers are the marks. There's nothing about this system that deserves saving.
