I especially love the bit where 'treatment' is a core strategy when insurers are stingy about covering treatment, and the drug manufacturer has jacked up the price.

If we did it the way you fixed it (I do) the businesses would suffer loss of profits. Therefore people do it as govt says they ought to, because even before they die, they undergo a treatment (paid) and they pay before they die. And the undertaker doesn't do it for free either.
