I'm glad you mention the "baby Hitler paradox"; it prompts a thought I'm ashamed I never thought before. If time travel lets us reach baby Adolf before the trauma of his father's beatings, his brother Edmund's death & WWI service—is infanticide the ONLY way to save millions by altering his destiny?

Well, once you’re playing around with time travel hypotheticals there’s nothing you can’t imagine—what if by giving young Hitler a better upbringing you generate resentment in his buddy Klaus who goes onto kill even more people!
