We should not have been made able to know how fucking stupid and evil so many random regular people are, you used to just have to kind of eye ball it, big picture-wise, and convince yourself it was not a whole deal.

I was on a D&D forum years ago called ENWorld that had a "grandma rule," i.e. you couldn't say anything that would upset the founder's grandma. So, there was a whole other forum, Circus Maximus for posts where people could say what they really thought. Most of them were evil assholes.
