I have experienced shit like this with insurance companies. So very poorly run and it’s not like you can run out and just switch on a dime.

We had a dog who I one time went camping with - just the two of us. And the fiercest thunderstorm I have ever experienced in the mountains went on for over an hour. She was completely unbothered. And her presence made me calmer.

Having every game a sell out is a good move too. I’m not worried that the capacity is lower. The soccer culture they are building around that team is something else. And a good piece of it is that every game is a sellout with engaged fans.

My grandfather had a pet pig during the Depression when he was 14. Said it waited for him to get home from school, followed him everywhere, just like a dog he said. They were a poor family so I’m sure you can guess what happened next.

My kid did the same thing a year ago. He permanently lost one of his adult front teeth. Bike accident, landing on his face, one front tooth popped completely out, tons of blood. In his panic, he dropped the tooth in the grass, no hope of putting it back in. But he has embraced his lost tooth look.

I’m listening to Hayes’ press conf. And Hayes really put herself out there on Korbin’s behalf. I hope that doesn’t come back to haunt Hayes later. (although she’s pretty adept at getting out of that kind of trouble). I’m going to continue to keep Korbin at arms length for some time.

The forwards selected have been better than her over the last year. Plain and simple. She is still a tremendous player and leader and a US Soccer great. But she’s not better than the forwards selected.

It’s also regional. I lived in AZ and people said “power point” but then moved to the mid-west and “slide deck” came out of nowhere to me. I had to listen carefully and infer what that person was talking about the first time I heard it.
