Absolutely nuts 🙄. We had a major demolition here in Aust turned in to a festive event. Result - crowds peppered w concrete shrapnel.

Yes, this. He can think and say anything he likes. His hard core supporters love it and don’t care a jot about facts. Everyone else has given up challenging this stream of alternate reality so he goes on creating his own. Power

Good news. There needs to be standard mechanisms to decouple - or at least restrict - countries who no longer share the broader vision of the EU. The onus instead should be on the chronically dissenting country to persuade how their contrary views benefit the EU.

Incredible looking on from afar how casual or powerless Americans seem to feel about the reelection of Trump. Drifting into dictatorship & everyone continues to just argue the finer points.

TBH a lot of Japans forests are monoculture plantations. While it’s great to have the tree coverage, they are nearly devoid of life. I’ve hiked in many parts of Japan (which I love) but always note how silent are the forests. It’s a pleasure encountering ‘wild’ forest when you do.
