Days like this, when my area is under a tornado watch, I’m re-pissed off about the loss of Twitter, where dozens of local weather sites and emergency local & state sites always posted updates. It provided a real public service during emergencies that no longer exists.

Any time I heard a siren or a helicopter circling I could search the name of my town on Twitter and find out exactly what was happening. There's nowhere to do that anymore.
