I’ve been using the Ivalician Holy Knight armor since level 70 (as a glamour, of course)… but this MIGHT be the first set of artifact armor I just wear without a glamour on it. Holy HECK.

Only theoretical - I’ve looked into demand-based cooling for LEED stuff a while back, but never anything beyond the concept. I was kind of thinking the other day about how nice it would be to set up a demand-based louver system in the house, though. :D

Our humidity is often comparable, though it’s definitely drier here in CA than in the south. Summer in the south is UNBEAEABLE. Y’all just gotta grab a little window unit! We lived in an old Victorian in downtown Sacramento and the only A/C we had was two little window units. Does the trick!

Yeah, I kinda love it when Brits complain about their 30-ish °C heatwave, and I’m just over here like “oh, sweetie. No.” If we spent the ENTIRE summer at 35°C, I’d consider it an absolute win. Right now Tuesday is forecast at 99°F(37.2°C) and I’m like “oh nice, a break.”

3000k is soft white (more yellow), 5600k is closer to blue/white. 300k is actually technically ultraviolet. :D

So far the only fight I’ve had to do more than once was the Maulskull fight, and honestly that was just because the mechanics took a minute to figure out. Any time you can get knocked off a platform, there’s a trick to it, but aside from that I’ve just been wreaking havoc. :)

Playing through Dawntrail, and I finished the fight with <SPOILER’S> shade @ about level 95, and Liz was watching me and was like “wow, that was a tough fight.” I had to tell her that in all honesty, it was like a 5 out of 10, at best. Some of the major fights in this damn game get RIDICULOUS. :D

Holy shit. Just watched the season finale of Interview With the Vampire, and that episode was fucking ART. Terrifying, beautiful, heartbreaking, tense, joyous ART. It’s going to be going though my head all night, and I am SO GODDAMNED HAPPY they’ve renewed it for season 3, because I NEED MORE.

I’ve tried everything i could to keep me out of this position again, but everything I’ve tried has failed, and our landlord has given us to the end of the month to get back rent taken care of or we’re out. Liz’ new job is enough to pay bills month-to-month, but not to get the back rent in time.

CalWorks cash aid was looking like it was going to come through, and was denied at the last minute. The job I was SO close to getting went to another candidate at the last moment. I’ve been trying everything I can think of, and come up empty every time. I feel like a drain, and that kills me.
