people won't revolt in case it inconveniences them... allyship makes them think they... we are doing enough. so does crowdfunding!
I feel in some ways all politics is anymore is people trying to sacrifice some marginalized group in order to ignore crises. The homeless, migrants, queer folk, POC, the disabled and chronically ill... Just ignore them, so we can pretend things are okay a while longer. It's the anti-solidarity.
Oddly, I was thinking about this last night.
Particularly given how the nazis targeted trans people, and they're conspicuously absent from the poem.
(Not a criticism of the poem, but it's a thought that has been swimming around my head for a day).

social media gives us voices...
revolutions cannot be insta opportunities...
you have to be prepared to kill... to be the bad guy... to risk your own head falling as the wheel continues to turn...
