Let me be a little optimistic: Harris may just prosecute the public case against Trump effectively. There’s a lot of low hanging fruit, and a positive thing about her campaign was that she did the comms part, and debate pugilism, well.

I wouldn't be as worried if pushing out Biden meant Harris, but it's clear that the people pushing hardest for this result also don't want Harris, but instead a magic fantasy candidate to be named later.
