Sorry for rambling. I just am beside myself that we’re here. He could have pointed out that the founding fathers actively feared and discussed at length threat of a populist candidate. It’s like Biden brought the Weimar Republic to a gun fight.

Trump’s appeal is that he’s authentic. He’s an authentic liar and charlatan. But he doesn’t sound like he’s holding anything back. Hilary lost because she wasn’t herself: a baddass bitch she really is. “America, the fact this man is standing next to me is on you. Wake up people.”

Seems to me the only way to win against Trump is to go meta. Expose his strategy in real time and mock the particulars of these lies. Biden’s only talking point should have been that it’s insane that Trump was even on that stage. And for crissakes, stop being afraid of insulting his supporters.

Thank you. Have not heard a lot of this but have heard of it. Have been a big AEOC fan since high school. Saw them at a jazz fest in San Antonio as a kid. They emptied half the venue within the first ten minutes. The rest of us were enthralled. Remains a high mark in performances I’ve attended.
