I used to follow but it annoys me that he has to comment on every one. Like "so funny!" kind of stuff. Just let the meme stand on its own!

I think that's just a thing older folks do. All the Boomers (and older like Takei) in my life do it. They don't seem to understand that these things can stand on their own. Hell, even I feel the need to do it sometimes and I'm a Xennial.
