As I understand STV, you need larger constituencies as more candidates are elected. So the current constituencies would vanish. But having less gerrymandering today probably bodes well for such a shift. Rotten boroughs are not a tradition you need to reenact!

You can also increase the number of seats in parliament! But I see what you mean - the answer is: I don't know but I struggle to believe it could be worse than what we currently have
