That is exactly the question to ask—what objective are you assessing, and does giving students that note sheet validly assess it? If the objective is to decide which convergence test to apply to a series, the "comment" column of that sheet seems to do a lot of the work for the students.

I try not to call them “cheat” sheets, because normally cheating is bad. “Formula sheet” or “note sheet” are better terms IMO. More to the point, I think they have the most impact on learning when the students make their own.

The coffeemaker had been unplugged so I had to reset and reprogram it. After it failed to start when I wanted, I realized its initial clock time is 12:00am, but its initial brew time is 12:00pm. Seems like a UI flaw, especially when the user hasn’t had their coffee yet

There’s a Cheesequake State Park in NJ, too. Must be a Lenni Lenape name. There was a Cheesequake Rest Area on the Garden State Parkway but it’s been renamed for Jon Bon Jovi.

I’ve gotten pretty good at picking the purple. It’s the one that involves wordplay or familiar phrases with a common word. The blue is often four items from trivia. Green vs yellow is a coin flip. I go with the “harder” one for green
