Yet another story on a large wave of illness from infectious disease, and no mention of the airborne nature of transmission, nor of easily-done mitigations such as opening windows for ventilation, running HEPA filters, and wearing a respirator.

Recommending keeping up to date on covid and flu vax is all well and good but this story is focused on how much illness is ripping through ECE - this age group is mostly denied covid vaccine in NZ 😒
