As far as i can tell (and i’m not a lawyer ftr), the biggest failure of the immunity decision is that it hands the issue back to the states/federal courts. We all know where their appeals go, right? Back to SCOTUS. All they did was say: We’re gonna obstruct this by creating a never-ending cycle 🔄

I gotta admire the chutzpah that these "originalists" decide to crap on one of the actual pillars of legal thought that brought this nation into being all because they're scared that black, brown, red and yellow peeps (as well as peeps who are not wired the same way as them) might be seen as people.
