I have a 20k credit limit on one of my cards and it has been there since my annual income was under 30k. I make great effort never to carry a balance with them anymore. So they end up paying me 2% on basically all of my spending and make nothing from me other than swipe fees.

…and the best is when your credit card company sends you invitations for personal loans with interest rates that are sane only compared to the APR on purchases. Like, if I’m not carrying a balance from you, what makes you think I want to pay interest on borrowing cash that I don’t need??
