Good matchmaking results in matches where either team has a chance to win. That is not what Crucible does. Most modes are open skill, which does not take relative ability into account at all. Even the outlier protection matches are still decided during matchmaking most of the time.

And yeah, I'm pretty bad at PvP. Do you know what doesn't help people get better at something? Getting their teeth kicked in every time they try again. Crucible is not intended to welcome people, it is intended to weed them out. So I resent being forced to participate in something like that.
