I'll be curious to see how it really plays out post election -- my best guess is that he's a wash except in a few swing states, and there is the rub. In those particular states, who will he harm least? The orange one, or democracy?

I feel like there are a lot of ex-democrats who may have voted for Obama, definitely voted for Trump but are not big fans who will be RFK's natural constituency. They can pretend that they are free-thinking democrats again instead of the rabid reactionaries they have become.
