If they take to long you could have the enemy attack, have them be discovered or assess a penalty to the spells. I know this seems punitive, but it is frustrating for other players and really drags out combat.

Lots to be said about McConnell, but to me his legacy will be the person most directly responsible for the tradition that Black presidents don't get to appoint people to the Supreme Court in an election year but white presidents do.

A former colleague of mine called Trump the lesser of two evils. I countered with “you would rather a dictator than a democracy?” He retorted that checks and balances would prevent that. But, if republicans win both houses there is nothing preventing that. Ugh.

I am sure my CoS half Elf Bard, Malinor does have some of me in him. Chaotic good with a strong sense of social justice. Even though he came from middle class, will always support the little guy. He takes a lot less shit from people than I do because of mad sword skills.
