worth noting that there really hasn't been a giant swing towards Labour; they're polling a bit better than last election but not hugely and a lot of it was taken from the SNP. The results are as they are because Nigel Farage's Racist Party - sorry, Reform Party - took a huge chunk of Tory votes.

If Labour's smart, they'll install some sort of proportional voting to ensure that the 55% of the country that regularly votes Labour/Lib Dem/Green stays in power via some combination of parties for the foreseeable future, but somehow whenever a centrist party gets in power they never do that, funny
