So then what must Biden do to convince people that the first 20 minutes of a single debate shouldn't override every other action he's performed and word that he's uttered? Are we going to start seeing demands for Biden to do a triple backflip? Cognitive tests a la Trump? Republicans love all this!

And every time you point out that Biden has already demonstrated his mental acuity many times since the debate, the chattering class responds "*I* know, but, *most people* don't know". It's a kind of circular reasoning that absolves them from having to inform, instead becoming "voter whisperers".

I'm sure if Biden agrees to cognitive testing that would quell the chattering and not encourage these pundits and wannabe kingmakers to be even more absolutely unhinged.
