Yes? Some people actually like Biden, that's why he won two primaries. I'll vote for whoever gets the D nomination even if its a club sandwich, but plenty of actual Biden supporters would be pretty damn angry if he was forced out of the race by dishonest op-eds.

I watched the interview so you don't have to. It was fine. Biden started fine and got a little better as it went on, George started fine and got a little worse as it went on. It won't change any minds about liking or not liking Biden, but he's clearly in fine mental health (with a stutter).

I don't think it will single-handedly change anyone's mind, but anyone telling you this is a bad interview is a liar. Its somewhere between "fine" and "good" depending on how worried you were Biden was gonna flub and how much credit he deserves for not taking obvious baits.

This is a pretty good interview for Biden IMO. Much better than the debate. Being allowed to talk freely and in a loose, polite setting really helps him. Anchor notes that ABC offered a 1 on 1 interview with Trump and he declined.

George is asking bad questions but he's letting Biden speak uninterrupted and isn't trying to shut him down or shout over him, so it presents fine. I think George comes off kind of poorly since he just keeps asking the same questions after getting answers but he isn't actively mean.

This is the most normal old politician giving an interview possible. The audio quality is awful. Anyone telling you this interview went unusually badly is a liar. He spoke quietly, and the bad audio quality made it worse. He avoided every obvious gotcha question.
