I don’t understand it 100% either, but I believe the conservative Tories have been knocked out after 14 years, Labour who are like the Democrats have taken over, but a troubling undercurrent to it all is that most of the disaffected Tory voters switched to the Reform party, which is the UK’s MAGA

Not exactly. The Conservatives post Brexit had kind of gone in a MAGA style direction - especially with Johnson. This new party is basically there to say “you aren’t MAGA hard enough”. Also - Many farther right Conservatives survived. Priti Patel, Kemi Badenoch, Suella Braverman are still in play.
