This is why it's important to focus on the substance if you correctly believe that the substance matters. If voters are too dumb to listen, we're fucked anyway. But if they're willing to listen, you should be telling them the truth about what happened. So you might as well tell the truth.

Tell the truth: Biden isn't as sharp as he should be, his administration is very effective for better and worse, and Trump is vile and will wreck the country and maybe the world. With friends you trust, tell the second truth: You would vote for the remains of a sledgehammered burrito over Trump.
