I’ve long wanted to do something for Empire and I still can’t quite believe it’s a deep dive with the cast and crew of one of my favorites turning 40, THE LAST STARFIGHTER. This was a lot of work, but truly a labor of love. (Also, that art is incredible.)

Which is honestly a *tad* annoying to learn this now because I bet that would be an “interesting tidbit” between us with a lot of running jokes. For any people who know the area, to clarify, both Scott and I were not born in St. Louis proper. Our birth certificates both say “Creve Coeur, Missouri.”

At Wampler’s event Saturday, his dad joked about how there was confusion around Scott’s birth city (assumed Plano), revealing Scott was born in St. Louis. I emailed his dad yesterday and, turns out, Scott and I were born at the same hospital and lived about five miles apart.
