Anyway, this is a giant tsunami that will necessarily change how US Gov is taught throughout the US - it doesn’t help that no one seems to know what practical limitations there are on either the President or the Court.

I still haven’t found my equilibrium after This Week in SCOTUS * A great deal of my lessons in the first weeks of US Government (public school seniors) center around Constitutional design, esp the Framers’ antipathy towards a single Leader (Congress is clearly the first among equal branches)

I saw Tokyo Story first, then Late Spring. Tokyo Story is a bit like Kind of Blue - the best Miles album but also the right album to start with. (Late Spring is my favorite, though - my In A Silent Way)
