I don’t know if it would be generally true, but normalizing interaction by number of followers like this might be revealing - and promising!

Yeah I think it’s mostly that we don’t have critical mass of people here yet. I’ve found engagement to be decent here and certainly more pleasant than Twitter has become (same experience as in Dr. Hayhoe’s thread).
