Transgender legislation trackers have noted that 2024 has seen the most radical increase in the total number of anti-LGBTQ+ bills. However, this year has also seen fewer anti-LGBTQ+ bills actually pass into law.

New from @alyssaur.bsky.social, Boston Children's Hospital has asked for leniency in the case of a mentally ill woman who called in a fake bomb threat in 2022.

They named Libs of TikTok as a source of falsehoods that caused the woman to believe children were being harmed.

As always with a piece covering a marginalized group I'm not a part of, please let me know if there's any issues in portrayal that I could've done better. I had a few transmasculine people I know give this a sensitivity read and their comments helped a lot...

Baltimore Pride was an event that largely went very well, up until the very end. A fight broke out and an unknown substance, likely Mace, was sprayed causing mass panic that led to numerous injuries.

Might've seen this one in the right-leaning media - the Olympics has some new guidelines for journos regarding women & trans people.

Opponents to trans rights are angry at this.

And yet, 10 Olympic sports exclude trans women to some degree.

Google's AI, known as Gemini, has been sending users misinformation about a variety of topics, including claims that a ton of Nintendo characters are all queer.

But not all of these user claims are true, and much info on this AI is inaccurate.

The UK is banning puberty blockers for youth gender dysphoria. This is banning a treatment that has never been shown to have harmed patients. It's never been shown to have been overprescribed or wrongly prescribed.

The New York Times published a Letter to the Editor from the President of the AAP criticizing the Cass interview published earlier this month.

The problem? They buried the Letter at the bottom of a page about Biden.
