TIL about the lookout in the crow's nest on the USS New Jersey during Typhoon Cobra. At the very top of a very large ship during a typhoon with 80+' waves, he swung hundreds of feet in every direction for hours. Would the main mast stay whole? No one knew!

With LE, for example, the cron job just requests a new one, pops it in the right place, fixes the symlinks, and restarts the web service. It's not rocket surgery at all anymore.
