Roberts announces that the overruling of Chevron will *not* overrule or re-open all cases decided under the Chevron framework, as a matter of stare decisis. I have limited confidence that announcement will age well, if the GOP gets to name additional Justices.

It’s not going to age well under the current Court. The 5th circuit is going to take this opinion and do aggressive 5th circuit things, and this Court has shown no respect at all for stare decisis

I had the amazing benefit of learning Administrative Law from the the late, great Professor Christopher Edley. I feel like a part of Prof. Edley died again with the overruling of Chevron.
