Biden won the primary (and the election) in 2020 because he was the least common denominator of the democratic party. No one but a small core of people that have had personal interaction with Biden love him. We all agree his policies will be good if we (the party at large) get our shit together.

I supported her in 2020. People really didn't take to her in 2020 and there has been a lot of negative press on her since. Yes she has probably gotten better and is in the best position to be the next one now or 2024...but not by a lot

The thing about the DC universe is that the heros are always so superior to everyone including the bad guys that what makes them heros is how they use (or not) their superiority (choices) not that they overcome the odds to win. So makes sense to me.

At least I have made moral peace that if our foreign policy morally indefensible no matter what, I still have the ability to push towards a morally defensible domestic policy over also have the same level of atrocity at home. It's selfish but I will only be disappointed not heartbroken

Hasn't been fulfilled yet but they are a couple of moves away from accomplishing almost every major goal - with the exception of Social Security, Medicare, the right to organize, progressive income taxes, civil rights act and the social cultural change in favor of multiracial and gender equality

My view is that any candidate especially a Democrat that wants to do the right thing on this issue will need to lie their way into office while having a lot of blood on their hands, and will leave it for the 2nd terms. That's my slim hope.

Yes and if we have a Thomas court Trump president and MAGA congress we can lose so much that we could never rebuild in our lifetime....but that's not inevitable. The Thomas court could also end relatively soon in the right circumstances. We should act like that's possible.
