I vaguely thought about Scotland once, about 30 years back. Grandparents were from there, I had valuable skills, they claimed to be desperate for people... nope, disabled kid. Perhaps if I had quietly drowned my entire family.

We're not in charge of the rules of immigration sadly, I believe they're reserved for Westminster. The Scottish Governments position is to cozily say "we welcome everyone" knowing full well that the UK government is the one doing the knock backs and they don't get the heat for it.
