It’s kind of weird, when you think about it, that in order to pass any sort of electoral reform in this country, we’d need to get permission from our king.

True, and Lord knows standard practices are going out the window these days so you can't count on anything not enshrined in law, but I think he'd rubber-stamp it without it being an issue.
