The “enjoy the camps” campaign strategy actually doesn’t work at all. It in no way makes marginalized people want to support democrats.

Having seen something similar recently in the UK, it is wild. They will say shit like that, and then go and court the bigots but still feel entitled to your vote because "We need to kick the other party out." I do not get how they think, this is a good strategy

It's quiet telling how bigots who were running in the election recently, is how they feel entitled to be an MP. The terfs that got kicked, complaining that they lost, and members of the Workers Party complaining that greens didn't stand down and let them have the votes so they could win a seat

Has got to be Halestorm's cover of Gold Dust Woman. I am also very partial to Kobra and the Lotus's cover of The Chain. Yes, both are covers of the Fleetwood Mac songs, what you gonna do, sue me XD

The rampant homoeroticism of 300 is truly something to behold, especially with how many people are in denial about it

The level of delusion is unreal, like Alba who were pretty much, we are going to be the bigot party, lost all their deposits. I think, that a lot of voters in her constiuency were more turned off by her obsession and thought it was impacting her being a good MP to represent them

It's a very interesting choice, it might mean, we are about to see some of the most dramatic prison and rehabilitation reforms for quite some time.

the press look at a man who spent whole days of his life, going down to the Kent coast to scream at people on the beach, and go, that is a man with a "reasonable view" lets bring him on.

the "impartiallity of the BBC" insists, that they must have the worst bigot to speak on any issue. At least that is the conclusion I have reached. Anyone who wants to buy into Farage's but "we will not tolerate homophobia and racism in our party" is a fool, as the company he still keeps is telling

The lack of critical analysis around Reform and how bigotry is baked into them as a party, is so frustrating, especially when coupled with the growth of the Greens (as they have a vast local presence now, like if you compare reform to them. Reform are a non-entity, but they get the attention)

Okay, I think I am done with my thoughts on the UK election. I needed to rant on about it somewhere, and at least spill my thoughts on a few things. The Labour Party and what they are doing, is covered in so much better detail by other people here,

The fact he has refused to indicate whether he would leave GBNews, or if he would be swanning off to the States to support Trump, I think says it all. he wants to maintain his grift, but he cannot say if he will do those things, because it would mean not spending any time in his constituency

Reform, is also built around Farage and his personality. He is their "Glorious leader", so I would be curious to see what happens if someone has a public disagreement with him. Like UKIP withered on the vine, after Farage's departure, wouldn't be surprised if Reform would collapsed in the same way,

I think the position of Reform is overstated, and it is only really amplified by the British Press/Media. Before Farage retook leadership, the party was almost a non-entity, Tice doesn't pull an audience like the king tosser himself. But what is the party beyond its 4 seats and farage

The right wing commentariat, are so high with huffing their own farts, they live in a bubble more isolated than the Westminister bubble.- A bunch of privately educated tossers, who believe they are ordained by the British Class system to dictate the issues of the day

The greens however, have a strong grassroots campaign strategy being built, they have a local presence and credentials to back themselves up and deserve more attention for it. They are at least putting forward ideas that can improve lives, reform's agenda is just bigotry and tax cuts

but, that will not keep it going forever. An absent MP without good reason to their constituents gets kicked in at the polls (A PM is usually safe, as being PM adds so many additional duties). The people of Clacton, are unlikely to be well served by Farage, and that might in fact be his downfall

The Greens on the other hand, have 800+ local council seats, + 4 MPs and 3 London Assembly members. Yet, they get none of the coverage that Farage and his mouthy racists get. Reforms appeal, is a protest against a westminister that doesn't hear local complaints. Farage offers platitudes and blame

It holds 15 local council seats across the UK, and 1 London Assembly seat. It's staying power at westminister, is wholly based on, what I think, is a general contempt for the westminister bubble. A lot of MPs, lack ties to their consituencies and are careerists within their party

I'm not sure Farage will have the staying power, there will be the expectation for him to actually work and show up for his constiuents. I don't think he will, he was extremely absent at the EU, only turning up when he could make it a media circus.- Like on the fisheries committee, never attended

Yeah, while its good to see the back of the Tories, I trust the current crop at the top of the labour party very little. So gotta keep the pressure on, continue to engage in direct action, and not get complacent.

I still struggle to process Fabricant as a real politician. Everything I have ever learned about him against my will, makes me go, wait, people actually elected his man. He looks like Boris Johnson was melted in the microwave

I would be curious to break down, how much of the Reform vote, is owed to the ridiculous amounts of air time the British Media give Farage and his ilk.- Part of me feels, that without Farage, reform would be absolutely rudderless

Just as an aside, she didn't win the original civil trial in the UK. It was the News Group Newspapers, who won their defense on calling Depp a "wife beater" in which they had overwhelming evidence to substantiate calling him such.
