Also! Feeding ducks and geese habituates them to human interaction/reliance on humans for food, which also puts them at risk. They are very good foragers, and they learn this from a very early age 🪶

I say all this as someone who always used to bring the leftover hotdog buns and ends of bread to the park to feed the ducks when I was a kid. I didn’t know then, but now I do so it’s my mission to be annoying about it 😌🪶
