When I worked in tech support, we shared our call center (and bathroom) with a sales call center. Sales reps routinely took calls in there, serenaded by the symphony written by a steady diet of Doritos and pizza. Zoom hadn’t yet been invented, alas.

I didn't know "school" meant "district" for charters, thought you meant "a school" My point: a Very Large Number for one school is not large for a small district. Why $21M on hand 12/31? Maybe because the school year goes until June and they got their funding for the year in fall? I don't know!

It becomes less MN Interesting when you add the context that it's not actually "a charter school" but rather a mini-district with 8 or 9 actual schools, an online school, and close to 5,000 students. In that context, is $21M in the bank in December 2022 an unusual amount? I don't know!

That question has what at least appears to be a straightforward answer: According to the filing, they had over $21M in savings and cash investments at the end of the year, so that investment income would represent 1.56% interest on those investments.
