At the time of writing, our staff are witnessing people being shot at as they attempt to flee the Al-Shifa hospital. MSF urgently reiterates its calls to stop the attacks against hospitals, for an immediate ceasefire and for the protection of medical facilities, medical staff and patients.

This doesn't go far enough. In fact, it COULD be interpreted as a cowardly form of NIMBY ("not in MY back yard"), i.e. "Don't shoot US! WE'RE innocent! Shoot the others!" NOT a message that Doctors Without Borders should even hint at by accident! STOP the killing! ALL the killing!

This is what happens when a terrorist group decides to, literally, butcher, over 1400 people and take hostages. So you don’t want hospitals bombed? Don’t do that. They all put Hamas in charge knowing who they were.
