One of my fav childhood memories was being at a game park where tiger cubs were being fed. They let kids take turns with the bottle and the one I was feeding fell asleep in my lap. Their carers were so impressed w/ how calm & quiet I was, they left me there after shoeing out the rest of the kids.

And yes, as an adult, I realise this isn't the best for poor cubs. It was the 80s, people were not as clued up. But I was a kid and it was amazing. They are so, incredibly soft, and they purr and it is fab. I also fed a baby bear. They are not soft and their long nails do not retract.
