I mostly only read KB’s roundup of the debate. I just couldn’t listen to That Man lie for an hour straight. Although I can barely tolerate his voice for long enough to watch stewart and Colbert.

Okay these are no long on sale for $1 each, but I just finished the first book and really enjoyed it. Absolutely would not have been sad to have paid full price of FOUR WHOLE DOLLARS. delightful fantasy novel about curses, curse breaking and… musical theater? Great way to start my vacation week!

I wonder if it has anything to do with the way their app and phone systems consistently say “your prescription has been refilled” and then I get there and no, no it hasn’t. Like… I’m a month behind on picking up at least one of my prescriptions partly because they make it so hard to just refill.

Oh god. The fifth season was amazing but devastating. The entire trilogy tears you open like that. Emergency Skin otoh is much kinder to the soul. IIRC it’s actually a *nice* story, kind of a balm.

Salt is the answer so often that spouse often just brings me the salt shaker along with a glass of water/ginger ale/whatever when I don’t feel well. I have considered just buying a salt lick but that’s not actually cheaper. It just seems like a good idea.
